meshtv3_2.solaris.tar.gz  
 	needed different library versions.  
	Source to be tried.

After going through the compilation of the source as described in the
distribution, making the required tar archive, and installing that in
the appropriate directory, 
some modifications were required to the meshtv script.
After this, the programs meshtv and meshtvx seemed to start up
normally, but core dumped after loading one of the sample data files.

There were warnings about 
	cannot access distribution/meshtv/bin/mpeg_encode
during constructions of the archive and extraction.

The program is too large; too hard to install properly; requires 
Motif 2.0.
